Hotel Subur Maritim

A really nice, relaxing feel about this hotel. Friendly staff all round, comfy accommodation (and bed), in a lovely location on the seafront. The breakfast buffet was superb.

Very good hotel with polite staff. This hotel has a good location directly at the beach. Hotel restaurant is closed in the off season period, you need to walk approx. 15 min. to find something.

Our family had hoped to enjoy some relaxation at Subar Maritime Hotel, but the loud banging and drilling from (unannounced) construction shaking our bed and walls to wake us up in the morning prevented our rest and recovery. Management refused to move us to a quieter room and showed very little empathy for these distressing conditions. I am also sad to report this hotel has a very strong odor of dog feces, if you are sensitive to smells this isn’t the place for you.

Liked · The decoration inside and the garden area. We were now visitin the hotel in winter of course, but we could sit in the garden a bit in the sun. I imagine it's a great area in summer. Disliked · Honestly, the staff were both during the day not very friendly. Not sure why they work on a reception if they don't like there job. This is how it felt. The evening / night guy was super friendly and nice, they should swap him to the day shift and the others to the night ;) The first "welcome" is so important in a hotel in my opinion. Pity.

Lovely hotel with super helpful staff! Breakfast was lovely with plenty of choice without being overwhelming. Location was perfect for the beach and restaurants etc. Great stay all round!

An honest review, I've given it 5 stars because the hotel was excellent for our needs. Firstly it's very dog friendly and no extra charge for the dog which was a real bonus. The location is great as we have stayed in Sitges many times and it can be very noisy but this is a lovely quiet location, yes it's a bit of a walk but it's a nice walk into the main town. The staff are fantastic, the man on reception was so helpful and accommodating and moved our room on request, all staff were fantastic. The housekeeping staff were also very friendly and worked so hard every day always with a smile. The room was clean and the beds were comfy and the balcony was brilliant, just a shame we didn't have nice weather for much of our stay to fully enjoy the balcony (but it was December and a particularly cool one this year). The only negative points as feedback and these are minor, the breakfast was included and was a bit samey with limited hot food choices and it was the same every day which after 3 weeks we got fed up, and we skipped lots even though we paid for it and then we were charged for the 1 night we arrived a day early and had breakfast which wasn't included. Other review say the breakfast was great so maybe with it being out of season it was a reduced service, it also closed ofter before 10am even though it said 10.30 am so often things had been taken away if we arrived after 09.30. We were there Christmas day and nothing special was put on for breakfast, etc or even to decorate the room a little which was a shame. I was looking forward to smoked salmon bagels for breakfast haha (I wish). We had ants in the wardrobe in the first room but we moved, so that didn't affect us. Room service was advertised but was rarely available and wasn't available when we wanted it. Not sure it was 4 star but again maybe because it was out of high season and was running in reduced facilities. We will return again for sure as we had a really enjoyable stay and as I say the negatives are very minor and did not affect our stay at all. Oh and parking on site was great and free, it did get full sometimes and I think people that don't use the hotel had parked there which shouldn't happen and the parking on the roads around the hotel isn't clear as it looks to be residential (green bays) with no signs and the parking app is in Spanish. Maybe if the hotel can provide information on the roadside parking it would stop people blocking cars in and perhaps enforce against non guests using the car park whjxbi observed.
