“The location , ease of parking and room wre all positives. There is also a shaded courtyard with a bar, frequented by local people. · Cons: The owner checked us in, but we saw no more of him. The manager (his son?) obviously had a demanding family of his own, which detracted from his service levels and indeed, his competency. At dinner he recommended a wine which even after half an hour's search, he still couldn't find in his cellar. It was however left to the hard working waitress to let us know. We asked her for the house wine instead, and the manager confirmed it was local. It wasn't - the label stated it came from Navarre. The food itself was of limited choice and indifferent quality. The following morning there was no sign of either the owner or the manager, so a member of the kitchen staff checked us out. It's a great shame because with better trained, more attentive and customer focused management this could be a really super hotel.”

“A quite peaceful retreat”
The best

We arrived late on a Sunday evening and our host couldn't have been more accommodating.We had no spanish and yet he u understood what we needed. Beds were comfortable, the rooms were spotless,the bar was great and breakfast was plentiful.

To be improved

Only gripe is the shower head fell off with the water peasure.
