Hotel Suizo

Absolutely love Hotel Suizo! Perfect location and lovely staff.

We are on our third day of our stay at this hotel. Despite its good location, right next to the cathedral the rooms are not great. As you might expect from city centre hotels rooms are very small with little light from the small window. However what lets the room down is the fact that the wardrobe is so small the clothes hangers have to be turned sideways. Easier to hang clothes outside of the wardrobe. No coffee making facilities which is extremely unusual for any hotel of any standard nowadays but by far the worst thing is the bed. It is a tiny double but the mattress squeaks every time you move in it so I have had absolutely no sleep for the first two nights!!!!

Just returned from a 3 night stay with my wife and daughter. Everything was perfect - fantastic location, easily reachable from the airport with a train / metro trip. We returned to the airport by taxi as it was early morning and there was a constant stream of taxis passing by the main road in front of the hotel. Plenty of bars and restaurants nearby and the Gothic Quarter was great. The rooms were made up daily and the level of cleanliness was exceptional. If I return to Barcelona I would not hesitate to stay again.

We had a very positive experience at Hotel Suizo. The standout feature is definitely the location — it’s excellent. Being right in the heart of the city made it easy to explore everything on foot, with plenty of restaurants, shops, and attractions nearby. It’s an ideal base if you want to make the most of your time in Barcelona. The hotel itself was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. Our room had everything we needed for a city break, and the beds were comfortable after long days of sightseeing. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay, which always makes a difference. Overall, a great choice if you’re looking for a well-located, comfortable hotel at good value. We’d happily stay here again.

Location of the property was perfect. We travelled all over the city and our favourite area was where the hotel was situated. Close to the water where the nice restaurants and views are.
