“Family in Orio”
Nice clean hotel, great food, near beach. Spa was nice to have in site. Easy walk to town. Staff very pleasant. Would recommend to stay here.
“Relax and Enjoy this place !”
A great hotel with very relaxing accommodations. the Staff were very helpful and friendly. We were seeing a concert in San Seastian and was not hard to navigate there by train and take the taxi back. Taxi from San Sebastian was about 35 euros. It is definitely worth the effort. The spa was very relaxing.
“Spa stay”
This was my third time staying at Villa Antilla. I especially want to say how kind and professional the staff of the hotel are. Most of them speak Spanish. English and French. The spa is very good , however this time some of the jets were not functioning . The buttons to turn certain ones on were not working. The ones that are working are some of the best I have used. The water was warm enough and the jets were strong. The facilities were impeccably clean. Now I will speak about the restaurant. The food is bordering on gourmet , but the portions are on the small side. The big problem with the restaurant is the lack of sufficient personnel. On a Saturday with the hotel almost full, there were only two people working I the restaurant and one of them was also servicing the bar. When I arrived at the restaurant, only half of the tables were taken yet they refused to serve me saying that they are fully booked. The day I left at lunchtime I waited over 10 minutes to have a drink delivered. Apparently the restaurant is independent of the hotel and they ae trying to hire moe people. The location of the hotel is very good and if their restaurant is closed or full there are other options to eat right across the street or a 5 minute walk to the beach. The rooms are comparable to those of a four star hotel, quality linens, complimentary mineral water and a welcome jar of gumdrops. . The hotel was kind enough to invite me to a late check out on my last day. I needed some maps printed out from google and they were happy to do that for me. . All in all I had a great stay and look forward to returning to Villa Antilla. Laidy and Eva from. reception were very helpful. . Oh yes, Saturday nights they have live tropical music and people come from the surrounding towns to dance to this great band!
“So good we are going to back.”
The bed is THE best I have ever slept in. The room is…compact but totally acceptable. We had a third floor corner room with a lovely view and large terrace and a jet bath. The spa was a little tired-looking but I had a most enjoyable massage and lots of pleasure in the several salt and jet pools. Take note if you’re going in the pools; you need to take flip flops or some kind of sandal, and a swim cap. Or you can buy one there. The staff were great, friendly, efficient, most speaking excellent English. Here’s the best bit ; the food, which was DIVINE. We had the degustación and were so stuffed! Top tip, don’t eat any bread with it. We had to forego dessert which had dry ice 🤣 We are most definitely going back. This time, off-season, we got a 20% discount but it is worth going for full price. An excellent little findz
“Wonderful experience will be coming again soon!”
This hotel was by far one of the best I’ve ever been to. It was so close to the beach which was very convenient for me and my family and the view from our balcony was beautiful. The workers are very welcoming and the food is excellent. We stayed there for a week and went to the thalasso a few times and got a massage. Definitely recommend!
“Wonderful spa hotel”
Stayed for just one night while walking on the Camino del Norte. This was a superb place to stay, with wonderful water jets in the spa to massage aching muscles from walking! The rooms were excellent with private balconies and the hotel is just a few minutes' walk from a small sandy beach.
