“Pleasant, quiet facility near cathedral, museum, and shopping”
The best

Situated on a quiet side street 2 blocks from the cathedral, this small hotel is nestled among other residences. It is close to the museum, and 5 minutes walk to the shopping pedestrian street - or 10 minutes walk to the theater bus stop (91 or 60) which can go to the airport or downtown center. A grocer is near the bus station, and many restaurants are in the pedestrian shopping street. It was very comfortable, and the entry information was provided by Booking.com text message prior to arrival. No issues with entry via keypad. Nice to have the coffee/tea-making with a light little snack present also. I would stay there again.

The best

This is a delightful, very clean, small hotel. The room we had was a good size and very comfortable, although a second chair would be a useful addition.

To be improved

The policy of only having the reception manned between 11:00 and 14:00 was very annoying particularly as no information about how to gain entry to the hotel outside these hours had been given until we arrived on the island, and we were unfortunately unable to establish internet connection. Fortunately another guest, who had encountered the same problem on their arrival, let us into the hotel, but they were not at all happy about doing so. Better communication of such a bizarre quirk should be made to guests several days before their scheduled arrival and not left to the last minute

The best

The Cathedral is in a quiet superb location. The rooms are exceptionally clean and serviced every day. Great for the bus station and many restaurants. Every morning we made full use of the free coffee available in reception and the staff are friendly and helpful. It’s great value for money and we really enjoyed our stay.

To be improved

No window looking outside but I did know this when I booked.

The best

The hotel exceeded my expectations and would want to stay there again if I return to Gran Canaria. The staff are very friendly and the place is lovely and comfortable. It is a fantastic location as well.
