It felt like a safe area of the suburbs. It was within walking distance of the metro station an bus stations. We did not know our way around and the language barrier presented issues when we first arrived. We loved the back area and garden. We did take long walks. Mostly a gated community but it felt fairly safe. There were old world style homes and very modern homes, so we enjoyed seeing how the locals lived. We liked the fact that breakfast was available and very good. The room had ample storage for clothing. The stairs leading up made it difficult for transfer of luggage, but the hotel was an older style with a homelike feel.

To be improved

The amenities were not quite that of a large hotel. We were unable to get the TV to do much. It was a little warm and small in our room. The distance to the sites of Barcelona and airport was slightly longer than we expected, but they were helpful on line in getting us access to proper car service. We liked the quaint atmosphere more than what the city offered, and we are just a little more used to newer surroundings.

We love the location in Valldoreix, nice breakfast, friendly staff

To be improved

The hotel needs some improvements. - The room was noisy, especially when the neigbour room was taking a shower. - The sewage was smelling very bad in our bathroom when we entered and also in a room we refused before due to the smell. - Wifi was not working in the room we got (upstairs)
