“Pleasant staff, a convenient carpark and a nice room should have made for a very pleasant stay. Our room was on the first floor at the front of the hotel. · Cons: The hotel is located on what turned out to be a busy through road which had a high volume of traffic throughout the night. Added to this, the local council bin collection occurred after midnight, and we had some very noisy and inconsiderate fellow guests returning to their rooms in 5th early hours of the morning.”

“Not going to stay here”

Room was clean, continental breakfast had a lot of meats and cheeses choices.

To be improved

The biggest issue was lack of air conditioning available. It seems that the hotel is only required to run central air conditioning if it's 22 degrees or more. I am not sure where this is measured in the building, but our room was definitely hotter. We asked for a fan and were told that they don't have fans. We also could not keep the window open due to loud street noise. The room was very hot and we were not able to sleep. Also, the staff leaves at 9pm on weekdays and 8pm on weekends and there is no one to answer any questions. The front door gets locked, if you lose your door code, there is no one to let you in. The original price that we paid was 90 euro per night, but with 10 euro for parking per night and 10 euro for breakfast, this cheep hotel was not a good price. The restaurant, which is advertised to be open every day, was closed for the 3 days that we were there. Also, be aware, pig farms in the region and the odor is very strong, especially in the morning.

“Good stopping point on long journey south and for access to Vic”

Good central location with covered secure parking and secure storage for bicycles. Extensive cold buffet breakfast.

To be improved

Room was above main road which was very noisy. Room was very hot with burning radiators which had to turn right down. Plastic sheet on mattress made us sweaty.

“Nice place to stay”

The best

My brother and I had a great stay while on our motorcycle tour of the Pyrenees. The town is a lovely place to visit too and there is much to do in the surrounding areas. There's secure inside parking for vehicles and a restaurant on site.
