“Stellar hotel in great location”
This place rates as one of my favorite stays on the Camino de Santiago. The hotel and room are beautiful, clean, quiet, and well-appointed. They do serve breakfast, but I left too early to have it. I don't think other meals are served onsite (but many eateries can be found down the street). There were a hot water boiler and coffee and tea supplies in the room. The bathroom was beautiful and luxurious. Best of all was the sitting area/enclosed balcony that I had as part of my room. The view from it was onto some greenery (and a garden there would make this even better). The staff were helpful during daytime hours; they leave in the evening (there is a number to call for help needed after hours). The hotel is situated on the end of town, on the split of the path for the Camino: one way to continue the main route; one way to take the alternate route to Samos (highly recommend). There is the tourist information office just a block away, and the lady working there provided exceptional help. Also near the hotel, find the 1000 year old tree with its exposed roots and the historic smithey building. Cute town, and I enjoyed myself tremendously.
Nothing to add here.
“Fantastic hotel. Loved the air conditioning after walking in the heat. Located at the end of town but still close to everything. Clean, appreciated the clothes line in the sun. · Cons: Nothing.”
