The best

Authentically restored grain mill house. Town, location and pool were great. Staff was wonderful. Individually cooked breakfast and made lattes on day2. I would return for the friendliness of the staff and the quality of service. Energy was very professional, personal and welcoming.

To be improved

On day 3 we couldnt enjoy the wonderful breakfast because its not served til 8am. By 8am we had to be somewhere else. Every room is different but our room toilet didn't have much privacy.

Misleading Presentation – Avoid prepayment I booked this hotel based on its appealing photos and room description, which highlighted nice design details like a stylish bath. However, this was deeply misleading. While a few elements may look good in pictures, the overall room quality was very poor – outdated furniture, strong unpleasant smell, no fresh air, and lack of cleanliness. We arrived on time, but the room was simply unacceptable for staying. After raising our concerns, the hotel agreed at reception that we could leave and assured us that the refund for all 4 nights would be handled through Booking.com. Unfortunately, they later refused to take responsibility, leaving us with no refund and no service. They simply ripped us off appropriately 700 EUR just for nothing. This experience was extremely disappointing and unprofessional. As a frequent traveler and Genius Level 3 member, I expected better. I cannot recommend this hotel, and I will now avoid using Booking.com for future reservations unless this is resolved fairly.

“Delightfully comfortable simplicity”
The best

We could not recommend this charming simple small hotel more highly. Carolina and her family looked after us beautifully. The buffet breakfast was exactly what we liked with the added option of cooked eggs. The property is on the side of a steep hill so there are a lots of stairs unless you choose a room on the first floor. The small salt water swimming pool has comfortable sun beds. The village is delightful and surprisingly quiet. A gem!

There could have been better arrangements to hang/lay out clothes.
