“After hotel confusion over our booking, we found it a very clean and comfortable hotel”
The best

Location was good, hotel facilities were good.

To be improved

The hotel reception staff could not find my booking on arrival, although l provide confirmation that this was done through booking.com several months previously. I don't know where the disconnect occurred but reception staff did find us a room.

“Basic and does the job”
The best

Basic but pleasant hotel and was extremely convenient as I was working in the university next door for a couple of days. Pleasant staff with adequate welcome ( far too much form filling). No real facilities beyond accommodation. Rooms were sparsely furnished but clean and functional. WiFi was very poor and, at times, unusable. Standards of cleanliness very high and water was left in the fridge. Good hot water and shower pressure although hand held shower device did not function. Breakfast was minimal, mostly cereals, bread, yoghurts and some ham and tortillas. Nothing hot. Melon was delicious. Great location and certainly tranquil.

“Pilgrims on the Camino de Santiago”
The best

Comfortable bed, plenty of hot water. Huge buffet breakfast. Off the route for the Camino de Santiago, but made a long stage shorter so worth the detour. Welcoming staff, even stamped our Pilgrims Credenza
