“Lovely stay for a visit to Jerez. ( 1 hour away)”
Lovely property, It was amazingly large inside. The room was very quirky and quite large. Loved the original old tiles on the floor. Huge bathroom. The receptionist, was very helpful and friendly, even though we were late checking in. ( Latest check in is 18:00 but they waited for us). It was difficult to find, but the receptionist came out to find us, and stayed with us to direct us to the right place, even after she left for the night she came back to lead us to a parking space. Thank you. Communication was fast by telephone. We will return hopefully.
Check in time is very early 18:00. However they waited for us when we arrived late. For a 4 star hotel I would expect 24 hour reception. There was no one in reception after we'd checked in, but we were told to call if there was a problem. They answer the calls quickly. The bath was very difficult to get into, if you have mobility issues you should request a shower. There was no food or drink available. There was a coffee machine in the room, but no milk was left. If you want breakfast tea you should take your own. However, there was a vending machine with snacks and drinks, and there are restaurants and bars close by. It would help if there was a wall hanger for the shower head it was difficult not to get the water everywhere holding the shower. Not everyone is able to use a bath. This is constructive critism as none of these comments affected our stay in any way, we had a lovely time.
“Good size room · Cons: Had to climb a lot of steps to get to room, swimming pool was empty, room felt damp. Probably be nice place to stay in summer but ghost hotel in the winter.”

“Nice rooms, large bathroom area, pool was great, everything clean and we'll maintained · Cons: No shutter on the window and curtains very light so it was very bright at 8am in the room. Also a bright green light was on the whole night”

“Good but not 4-star service and facilities.”
The small garden and pool The big room The comfy beds The large TV screen (but no signal most of the time) The air conditioning The countryside views from the common terrace. The small theater (closed when we stayed there though), dining room, and art gallery themed after the 30s. The village atmosphere around the nearby church square.
No parking. You have to park far from the hotel down a steep hill. Inside the hotel, there are also long stairs to climb outside with suitcases (if you're on the upper floor). Staff is impersonal and not so helpful or friendly. The lady didn't provide the wifi network name and an incorrect password (extra space and incorrect capital first letter). I messaged them about it but it took them a couple hours to respond (a Saturday). White sofa was dirty with many stains. People sunbathing right behind our window (couldn't open the curtains). TV only has basic channels and no signal most of the time. Hotel is OK but definitely not worthy of 4 stars.
