“Lovely hotel for a group of women travelling. Handy location, 28 mins from airport and we were travelling to different places around for a few days i.e. Garabandal, Covadonga, Zurita. Bedrooms and ensuites were so clean, beds were very comfortable. So convenient with restaurant in the hotel, which meant we could eat before we left for the day and get alright dinner on return. Bar also available. Excellent value for money and will stay there again. · Cons: No mirror in bedroom to so.make up, hair etc. Had to wait for bathroom mirror to become available Breakfast selection not great, no cereals or egg dishes”

“This was an ideal stop for the night before the ferry from Santander, half an hour’s drive.”

The proprietor is also chef and a master baker - the food was superb, generous quantities, and a marvellous range of baking, patisserie etc. Restaurant clearly popular with local people, providing local specialties, good Spanish cooking.
