“My wife and I love this hotel. We think it is much better than the 4 star hotel in Orihuela where we used to stay. Antonia and Manuel are just wonderful hosts who cannot do enough for their guests. We feel like family when we stay here. Great conversation where we practice our Español with lovely people. The Tostada con tomate y aceite de oliva is my favourite breakfast. The bread is the best I have had... Anywhere. We always look forward to our next visit! · Cons: Nothing”

“Booked this hotel as we had a wedding close by. Spent 4 nights here - the hotel was lovely, clean, the owners were kind & helpful. There are restaurants, bars, supermarkets and cafes near by but would recommend hiring a car if staying here - it is a little out of the way and taxis were expensive for friends - they’re also few & far between.”

“Great weekend in a very friendly hotel”
The best

There was no breakfast included, there was coffee available at an extra charge. The room was good, had nearly everything you might need, could do with some coffee making facilities. Everyone was very helpful and friendly although there was a language barrier we managed to communicate quite well with the help of Google translate, special thank you to Toni for all your help booking taxis etc. The hotel is very close to some bars and restaurants in the local town which is a short stroll away.

To be improved

Our air conditioning wasn’t great, but others in the hotel said theirs was good so could just be that room. We didn’t spend a lot of time in there and it wasn’t that hot out so didn’t cause too many problems.

“Budget stay but you get what you pay for”
The best

Good location - although we were not told that the main road would be shut as there had been a fiesta! Comfy single beds but rock hard pillows.

To be improved

The room had not been aired so was musty. The receptionist spoke no English at all (but then we don’t speak Spanish so can hardly criticise although some basic check in English would have helped). Wi-Fi was not mentioned on check in and as it was late we were too tired to go back to reception to check (and we couldn’t call as they didn’t speak English!). Cell phone coverage poor. There was a window but it faced another wall/window. At 430am people in the reception started talked talking and laughing loudly which travelled straight up the stairs to our floor and woke us up. No water or tea/coffee making facilities in the room. Took our passports but could not explain why he would not give them back after his check.
