“Nice staff, great breakfast, clean rooms.”

The best

The staff is super nice, the hotel is very clean. And the breakfast was fresh, varied and very tasty. I liked that it had some local specialties among other more regular foods. The rooms are very small, with basic stuff, minimal furniture, no fridge, small balcony, all clean and functional. There is a tv with programs is many languages. In the bathroom there are nice, soft towels, hair dryer, shampoo & shower gel. It is easy to get anywhere from the hotel by bus or metro. They seem to have a shuttle to the airport, but I didn't use it. There is a church on the other side of the street, but it is not an issue, they keep the bells to a minimum.

To be improved

This is not a place to stay in for views. Some rooms up to 7th floor have a view at a wall. Floors 8-10 at least get some daylight. One of the lifts is old, the door need a few attemtpt to close. Otherwise, it functions well, and there is a second lift, which is fine.

The decor was really nice, very quiet. Area was very quiet and very close to transport links. Felt very safe and comfortable. My room was very clean with great air conditioning and heating.

“The hotel has only 2 stars, but I definitely give it a lot more for all that has to offer. Helpfull staff, clean room with all you need, great breakfast, nice common areas to spend time in (I loved the 9th floor terrace with a view over the city). The location also is great, on a quieter street just a few minutes to walk from center and quite a few famous attractions, supermarkets and bus /metro station nearby. All in all, I totally recommend it.”

The patio up on the 9th floor was ideal for just sitting out, having a beer and meeting other travelersI. It was a great service to leave luggage at the front desk before check in time.

To be improved

Being charged for coffee during the breakfast hours since I did not want a proper breakfast.

Location was good to walk to Las Rambles and other spots of interest. Staff were great.

To be improved

Rooms were incredibly small and we struggled to have two people and two suitcases in the room. Needed to step over luggage.
