To be improved
We had a very disappointing experience at this hotel. First of all, the parking situation is unclear, there's supposed to be hotel parking, but it wasn't indicated where and nobody at reception mentioned it. We ended up parking on the street. Similarly, there is no lift at the front entrance and not knowing any better, we carried our luggage up a flight of stairs ourselves. Again, no help or guidance from staff.
During check-in, we could hear loud moaning from a nearby room, which was quite uncomfortable. Throughout the night, the soundproofing proved to be terrible — we could hear noise from multiple rooms. Our own room smelled strongly of cigarette smoke, and there were dogs running around the hallways, barking well into the night. There is no air conditioning, the ventilation is poor, and there’s barely any natural light.
The breakfast, which was included in the price, was very disappointing and basic, you’d be better off grabbing something from a nearby supermercato. Definitely not worth nearly €100 for one night. I’ve stayed in much better places for less in Spain during this trip. I even looked into switching hotels that same evening, but everything nearby was fully booked. Since we were only passing through for one night, we decided to just get through it, but if you have the choice, I would really recommend staying elsewhere.
Even at check-out, there was no effort made to ask how our stay had been. There’s no 24/7 reception, which we didn’t necessarily expect, but a simple question or gesture asking for feedback would have been appreciated. Instead, we just dropped off the keys and left without a word or even a glance from the staff.
For nearly €100 a night, not including the extra fee for parking, the value simply wasn’t there.
Honestly, I don’t understand the positive reviews on Booking.com, they don’t reflect our experience at all. One of my worst hotel stays ever.
