Hotel Villacarlos

Hotel Villacarlos is a solid choice for a short stay in Valencia. The rooms are clean and functional, with comfortable beds and good air conditioning. It's conveniently located near the City of Arts and Sciences and well connected to public transport. The staff were friendly and check-in was smooth. Not luxurious, but great value for the price – ideal if you're out exploring most of the day.

My friend and I stayed here for 2 nights. The location is brilliant! There is a bus stop very close which goes to the beach and the hop on hop off bus tour stop is just around the corner. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. The room was clean and the curtains blocked out any heat coming in from outside which was ideal. The shower was great, very powerful. Only downsides - The fridge wasn’t very cold, the air con was pretty weak and the hotel is pretty dated in its decor. Would I go again and recommend it to others? Absolutely.

Great location situated just 1 kilometre from the Jardin del Turia, a beautiful park which takes you to the famous attractions or to the town centre. The hotel was clean, a small underground garage and on street parking nearby. There are bars, restaurants and shops located within 500 metres of this hotel which is perfect if you do not want to re-visit the main town after a day of exploring. The lobby area had tourist information and a small space to regroup/plan activities for the day.
