“Overpriced, old and worn out.”

The best

Portrays itself as a luxurious hotel, but it’s far from it. The room was old, poorly equipped and cheap. It’s not even about the fine details. On the main, it delivers like a 3-star hostel. The rooms were not comfortable at all: they were incredibly dark, many light switches wouldn’t work because there were no ceiling lights. The room was quite exposed, as right outside our balcony there were people sunbathing and looking directly inside the room. We had to pull the curtains for privacy, which made the room even darker. The floor was uneven, wonky, with floor boards sticking out, others ballooned from humidity. Cleaning was superficial. Then there were small but important details: room paid for 5, but only 3 chairs, 2 glasses and 2 toothbrush kits. Had to ask for outdoor table to be replaced because the top was falling off. No coffee machine, no kettle. The hotel itself is very poorly equipped (eg no gym..). Also portrays itself as a golf hotel, but the golf course is private. It belongs to the neighbourhood, the hotel has no rights of access, they only offer discounts. Mattresses were hard, bedding was poor, far from luxury hotel experience. More like a bungalow in a camping site. Room was absolutely freezing when we checked in, aircon was unreasonably cold. It’s hard to find positives about the experience, largely because the price point was so high that nothing justifies it. Overall, overpriced for an average, 3-star experience.

“Cons: Not the best value for money. Although the location and the hall were very nice, the room was very outdated. Based on the price, we were expecting to find a more renovated room with less outdated furniture. In this regard, even the door handle of the room was broken (see attached picture). Moreover, we were also expecting a more comfortable stay in terms of beauty kits in the toilet (nothing like body cream, cotton pads et cetera), laundry bag (absent), slippers (we asked for them, but they could not provide them to us), empty minibar et cetera. The personnel was very polite and available, but the most of them could not speak English at all.”
