House in Las Terrazas the Mijas

The property is a bit dirty but needs a a fresh paint , new bedding needed and bushes outside property needs trimming , once again host is a nice man area is beautiful , we did not have excess to the pool for 4 days as the pervious guests had lost the card , we had a 6 year old boy with us and he was heart broken 💔 booking a summer hoilday and not being able to use the pool is unacceptable and a spare card should be there in case these issues happen once again i understand the host went above and beyond to resolve the issue but if you book a week in the sun you are expecting to use the pool , he did how ever give us a 400 euro refund but let’s be honest if you book a holiday you don’t want a refund you just want to enjoy the property that is what your expecting .

The furniture, the settee is quite grubby, one of the dining chairs has cord all over it and another one has all duct tape. The oven is very dirty, so didn't use. The pans all had spots of fat on them and when you opened the cupboard they were in it stank of old oil, we did use one saucepan so we could make a cup of tea, no teapot or toaster. Two good sized double bedrooms, one ensuite. Duvets are for single beds, so too small,, we used two on the bed, some of the sheets have holes in. There is a grey unit in one bedroom and that is scratched and dirty. There is a jacuzzi in the enclosed area upstairs but we didn't use it, not sure if it had been cleaned.

There were a lot off ants and we were only told a couple days before we stayed there that we could not use the pool as there a law but felt we were told after we could not cancel it so still had to stay there and having a pool was a magor thing for us so we were very let down on this

Abit dated . And host could’ve left instructions on how to sort WiFi - work blinds . Where outside bins where etc so as not to message him.
