It was a real rural house in a beautiful rural village surrounded with rocks, mountains and ocean. Unbelievably beautiful area.

The house, the village, the hikes and the host are just perfect, feels like visiting the favourite grandma.

The place is wonderfully located, with beautiful views of the surrounding mountains from the patio and the living room. You can have your breakfast outside and feel like you're in Colombia. The patio has a roofed area with a table and chairs and big green plants, which makes it cozy. It is a great starting point to Playa Benijo and other trails in Anaga mountains. There is a roof where we left our laundry to dry, you can see the ocean from there, also you can see the ocean using a second door in the living room which opens up to the other side of Taganana. I believe for this price, it is a good option. Of course, you can see from the pictures that the place is not super stylishly decorated, I would say it is a little run down, but you have the whole house with a yard to yourself and it simply feels like home. We felt safe living the door and windows open when we were in, letting the air in. The master bedroom is spacious, you wake up looking at an avocado tree outside. José is very communicative, responds instantly to all the questions, gave very clear directions on how to get to the place, where to park and how get the key. He gave extra suggestions regarding where we could have dinner late at night and do some shopping. Our stay was great.

The cottage is very comfortable. There are two bedrooms (one with the bunk beds and one that can easily accommodate 3 people). You will find everything what you need in the kitchen. You can use the terrace and watch mountains and fruit trees in the yard. Finally we lived the place and we were sorry that we were changing the location.

Beautiful place, quiet, had its little village beauty. Owner really friendly, really communicative and helpful.
