Very difficult to contact the owner for entry. Thankfully our taxidriver saved the day as, by coincidence, she knew the owner. Otherwise I'm not sure how we would have got the keys.

I am not satisfied with the following: when I arrived it was late, around 10 pm, because there were problems with transport. The hostel owner met me on the street, in front of the hostel, and told me that he had to take me to another apartment, because the faucet in the one advertised in the booking was broken and there was no water. I had to get into his car for him to drive me. He put me up in a nice apartment, but I was completely alone. I felt a great fear from all this. On top of that, there was no stamp for pilgrims. It wasn't right for him to do that. He could have texted me and warned me that he would have to put me in another apartment after the faucet had broken the day before. I haven't slept well all night.

I wasn't advised that I was being taken to a different address than advertised. I only caught on afterwards when I reviewed my reservation. No kettle for hot drinks, no toaster, no cups. They had a coffee pot but no cups to drink from. The owners/men wanted me to pay in cash and expected me to go and get the money from an ATM and they would return to pick it up that evening. I wasn't prepared for that. I asked if I could get the money for them the next morning and they said no, they needed it that day. They came to the apartment after 10pm to collect which made me feel really uneasy as a solo female traveller. They told me to leave it under the door mat as I explained it was getting late and I wanted to sleep. My advice when making the booking would be to check what address you will be at, just incase you booked for location purposes and to take cash with you so you can pay straight away.

The owner met us at the original booking location and then moved us to a different location that night. And also wanted a cash payment which we weren’t prepared for
