HSM Regana - Adults Only

At the check in the staff told us we didn’t pay although we did and it took them ages until they realized they were looking at someone else’s booking. Very limited food/dinner options and not too tasty.

Everything else was awful. Shower overflowing due to blockage or something wrong with the bubbling drain. Asked reception to sort it on Monday, nothing was sorted and the bathroom including the room got flooded every day. Used all towels to dry it. Food - half board - absolutely waste of money. No matching dishes, lamb and chicken cooked to death, no sauces, nothing to go along. Salad - no dressing made up. Dessert section looked like a children's counter with sweets but in an adult only hotel. All overly sweet and horrible. Queues to get coffee or tea at a machine. The one outside got blocked off on purpose 2nd day. No air-conditioning working in the dining room abs at 28°C with a lot of people it is too hot. Outside seating possible but very far to walk to the buffet not good when disabled. Waiters we're extremely noisy when clearing the dishes. More like a school cantine than a restaurant. Who wants to eat overbooked pasta with tomato sauce on holiday??? No drinks menu and a language barrier so you could order beer or wine but never knew what beer or wine you would get or what it costs. 2nd day at breakfast one type of juice ran out, was never replaced as the hotel closes 6 days later fir winter. Never was told we will just get left overs but still pay full price. The bar service from 6pm was awful. The guy didn't know any of the cocktails and had to wait for his boss to be shown so we waited 1.5h for drinks. The pool bar sold smoothies which were ice slushies for €6.50 each. All in all very disappointing and wouldn't go back. Could be a nice hotel with decent management. Adult only is pointless as both hotels next door and the apartment block have plenty of screaming children.

The safe in the room costs extra, should be included in the price.
