Unclear instructions about key and locating room. Host not prompt to respond in time of distress. Toilet not en-suite. A bit pricey for the kind of apartment.

We liked that we were so close to the city center

Only half the lightbulbs in the apartment worked and the landlord would not come and replace them, especially the ones in the bathroom. Only one of them worked and it would flicker like a strobe light, so we had to shower with cell phone light. We didn't like that the toilet was separated from the apartment, which was a little weird. At night the cigarette smoke from the bars and restaurants downstairs would come into the room and make everything have a strong cigarette stench. The air conditioner was also not working, like it had been unplugged which was very inconvenient. The overall cleanliness was very poor. There were stains on every piece of furniture, some of which looked like they could have easily been cleaned but were overlooked. And finally, the 5:00 check-in time was ridiculous. Checkout time is 12:00, it does not take 5 hours to clean such a tiny place, and considering how dirty it looked, it seems very little effort was actually put into cleaning, which makes the 5:00 check-in time a little insulting.
