We did let the property manager know this. They gave a nice response and indicated they feel that allowing people to get their own things makes it feel less like a hotel and more like home. For me it makes it feel more like a hotel. It was frustrating to have to get basics. They give a "starter kit" that has a sponge, small hand dishwash soap, a garbage bag, a pod for the washing and one for the dishwasher. There were two small rolls of toilet paper. No coffee, tea, oils, salt and pepper, paper towels or napkins, extra towels, cup that fit for the espresso maker, drain plug for the kitchen sink, cooking utensils for the non stick pans, enough forks and spoons. We bought dish soap, laundry pods, (there were some left behind dishwasher pods), toilet paper, paper napkins, tea, oil, salt, espresso pods (luckily we had an espresso cup so we could use the machine). We used shopping bags to take out the garbage daily. The response we got from the manager indicates they will only leave paper products behind due to hygiene and safety issues. Hopefully they take the feedback and add utensils for non stick pans, espresso cups, and a drain plug for the kitchen sink. It would be good to have the starter kit include enough garbage bags, dish soap, laundry and dishwasher pods, and for their to be paper towels and enough toilet paper for the length of stay.

Supplies, such as bathroom tissue and paper towel, were not provided enough.
