“Fantastic hotel in a wonderful location”
- The hotel was lovely and spacious and the social areas were a real bonus. We particularly liked the addition of a DJ in the evening to provide background music - Great breakfast included with our room rate; lots of variety and all very fresh - Very impressed with the up to date equipment in the gym area - Lovely pools and a good selection to choose from - the location was excellent; literally a stone's throw from the beautiful beach of Cala Llonga
- the room was a little compact - the bed was a little too soft (obviously it is my personal preference to have a firmer bed) - the adjustable shower head did not stay in place - the fridge was not cold enough, it barely kept our water chilled - one of the evening bar staff in Cuyo - Roberto - could not have been less welcoming; he was bordering on being rude :(

We were concerned by some dodgy reviews but actually this hotel lived up to our expectations - clean comfy rooms, nice pool, good breakfast with lovely views of the sea! It’s a bit pricey but unfortunately that’s the case across the island.
They really need to put more umbrellas by the pool to help protect from the Ibiza sun!

Loved the general vibe and aesthetic of the hotel, the rooms and public areas were tastefully decorated, and the breakfast area and stations were particularly good. The beds were very comfortable and the staff were helpful and friendly. Lovely quite town with lots of drinking and restaurant options.
Even though I thought the breakfast provision was really good, anything hot was often very cold. There were three pool and bed options around the hotel, but you had to pay for beds in the best area. I thought the deposit of £50 per night was excessive and it was released at check-out before the rooms were even checked, so it seems a bit unnecessary. The balcony doors on 2/3 of our rooms didn't lock. There wasn't much of a regular bus service, so you rely in taxis a lot.
“Disappointing”
Dear Hyde Ibiza Management, I recently stayed at your hotel for eight nights, and I feel compelled to formally express my deep disappointment regarding several aspects of my stay. I rarely write complaint letters, but my experience at Hyde was unfortunately far below acceptable standards. From the moment we arrived, we encountered issues. The welcome was cold and impersonal – we were greeted with nothing more than “check-in” by a staff member who made no effort to make us feel at home. I requested a room upgrade, which I usually receive complimentary via Amex, but I was told I had to pay extra. I agreed to the additional charge in good faith, trusting I would receive a comfortable room with a proper sea view. Instead, we were initially placed in a ground-floor room next to the pool, with virtually no privacy and continuous noise. The hallway and room had a strong sewage smell, the balcony door didn’t function properly, and overall the room felt neglected. I requested a different room the next day and was relocated – this time to a room directly underneath the restaurant, where every night around midnight, chairs and tables were dragged across the floor, making it impossible to sleep. To make matters worse, the second room also had a malfunctioning air conditioning system. After calling the front desk twice, maintenance eventually came. They spent nearly an hour attempting to fix it but failed. At 11 PM that same night, we were asked if we wanted to switch rooms again — which we declined, understandably, as we had already moved once and were exhausted. No one ever returned to resolve the issue, and we ended up sleeping without air conditioning for the remainder of our stay, in the middle of the Ibiza summer. stuk van de mail die ik ook naar het hotel hebgestuurd
