“Average with attitude”

The best

Have had good experiences of IBIS as a membership holder throughout . Parking is a first come first served free war zone or pay extra ( why IBIS never include this is annoying ) It’s tired needs a coat of paint and a root and branch spruce up .and that includes the staff especially the stroppy little madam who appears to think she runs things and staff happily insulting guests when they think they cant hear or understand.. However good facilities nearby and easy to get there. Just needs someone to take a grip.

“Disappointed”

The best

Checked in room, bathroom smelt of urine and it doesn’t looked and feel clean. Went to reception to change room, and we checked in another room and bathroom is a bit better. Later in the evening returned to room to get ready for bed, the room smelt mouldy and damp. This is quite late and we didn’t go to reception to change another room. The standard of this Ibis is not the usual standard of other Ibis. The room rate is expensive for the night. We only stayed for one night room only.

“Does the job”

The best

Does the job for a one night stay, but a little too much of a trek to the old town to stay more than one night. Very comfortable bed and good shower. Staff very helpful in booking taxis for us in the evening and most importantly when heading to the train station in the morning.

“Amazing hotel”

The best

Marçal and Sergio (deputy manager and general manager) were very kind and nice with us. The hotel is very well Maintained and offers a good breakfast with all you need to begin your day in wonderful and spectacular Girona city They have local wine at the restaurant which by the way is very good, one of the best I’ve ever tasted. Definitely Ibis never disappoints! We felt safe and welcomed.

“ibis Girona Costa Brava”

The best

ibis Girona Costa Brava is slightly over 2 Km (1.4 miles) north of the old city. In the hotel area there is nothing to visit, and walking to the old city takes about half hour. I had an OK room, with a comfortable bed and good insulation from outside noise. The bathroom was also OK. Breakfast was good, and staff were helpful. Wi-fi was intermittently slow.

“Value for Money”

The best

Absolutely fine as budget room, clean with double bed and shower/toilet. What more do you need? Quiet at night. Only down side - might get big noisy family late at night - but, hey it's Spain! Family happens, enjoy it.
