“Really good stopover on route to Malaga.”

The hotel surpassed expectations, modern, good facilities and overall, good value for money. Quite a good location dispite the traffic. Good to be able to exercise our pet outside.

To be improved

Charging customers for parking seem a bit excessive. This was not made clear when booking and we only became aware of the charge when at booking in at reception.

“The required amount of comfort for a festival 😆”

Great location for mad cool festival, very close to shops and the bar was great

I’ve been changed twice, as I’d already paid for the booking and then the hotel took it from me again.. (made booking.com aware 3 days ago and still not had a reply.. not sure if hotel or booking.com fault as yet)

“Disappointing”

the night staff really went out of their way to make a bad situation better. The AC was out and it was very hot. One staff member brought us a a fan so we could sleep. It was very sweet and we appreciated it very much.

To be improved

We reported the AC not working when we arrived in late afternoon evening. We were very tired after a long day of travel and kept waiting for the AC to be repaired. We had been waiting and waiting so that we could go to sleep. The staff came to try and fix it but it wasn't until the late night staff took over and let us know the entire floor was out. Also we reported that there was hair left in the bathroom by the shower and the shower door flange was broken. It wasn't a deal breaker but we wanted the staff to know so they could follow up with housekeeping. They did comp our breakfast which was very nice and appreciated. We have stayed there a few times over the years when we drive in from Portugal to shop at Costco and have always had a really good experience. It was sad to see the hotel getting more run down and the staff not as friendly as in the past (exception was the late night staff! They really tried to make it better even though there was not a lot they could do. when I learned that the whole floor was out, I understood better that their resources to help were very limited.
