“Great Location, Positive Stay Overall”

The best

Very nice, fresh, and clean hotel just a 3-minute walk from Bogatell metro station (Line 4), from where you can easily reach anywhere in Barcelona. The staff at reception and during breakfast were very attentive and kind. Breakfast was good — not extraordinary, but fresh and well organized. Overall, it was a very positive experience. The only downside was the cleaning service. Despite hanging the “clean the room” sign, our room was not serviced on the second day, and the soap/shower gel amenities were not refilled. Prices are not cheap, but considering the location and general quality of the hotel, it can still be a reasonable choice. Apart from the cleaning issue, we were satisfied with our stay.

“Robbed At Breakfast In The Hotel On Christmas Day”

The best

The hotel has a major security issue. We were robbed at the breakfast buffet and my friend had her passport, money and phone stolen in seconds, despite there being lots of people around. The entrance doors to the hotel are located right by the reception desk and the buffet area, and in the mornings there is a lot for the staff to deal with: people arriving, checking-out, and people coming for breakfast. It's the perfect set-up for a robber to get in and strike. While the staff were uniformly good, there was an obvious desire to play down the event and no discussion around compensation. I wonder how many times this has happened before. The hotel manager was empathetic and helpful however. I will certainly never stay here again, and anyone who is thinking of booking should read this and consider finding somewhere else.

“Not The Best”

The best

Me and my partner visited ibis styles bogatell for 3 night over the Christmas period. Staff were friendly and the hotel and rooms were clean and tidy. I wouldn’t say that this hotel is right in the heart of the city we still had to get to most of the popular tourist attractions and restaurants via the metro as there isn’t much around the hotel itself. The room was clean and tidy with a nice big comfortable bed but really lacking basics like a kettle/tea- coffee making options , a safe for personal belongings and a good amount of space to hang clothes which we have had in hotels like this in other cities. The room was also extremely hot and the temperature when adjusted on the thermostat wouldn’t go any lower. Overall the hotel wasn’t bad but wouldn’t re visit

“Really great experience”

The best

We stayed at the hotel for 5 nights. It is located very closely to a metro station (just around the corner) and in walking distance to most attractions. The breakfast is great and with a variety of home made bred to choose from, fresh fruit and cereals. The room was clean and new. The rooftop swimming pool area is a great place to relax after a day in the city. This hotel can only be recommended, and is a great price friendly alternative to some of the other hotels in the area.

The rooms are very comfortable. Geraldine at the restaurant was so sweet and very helpful with siteseeing ideas. My favorite hotel so far from our numerous hotels on our two week trip.
