“Magical stay”

We had a magical stay here. We thoroughly enjoyed the pool, which wasnt as busy as we were expecting. Shops and restaurants close by. Apartment was perfect for our family. Lovely balcony which has sea views with space to relax and eat.

“Missed Expectations at the Iconic Complex”

I appreciated the visual appeal and spaciousness of the Iconic complex and the apartment, which exceeded my initial expectations upon arrival. The setting promised a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Additionally, I was genuinely impressed by Mari, the property manager's, promptness and professionalism in addressing the issues that arose during my stay. Her efforts to resolve the service disruptions were commendable and provided a level of care that was a highlight in an otherwise challenging experience.

The absence of essential services such as internet and hot water for the majority of my stay significantly impacted my ability to work and overall comfort. This was exacerbated by the lack of mobile coverage within the apartment, further isolating me during my visit. Additionally, the apartment's balcony, which remains in shadow during the winter afternoons, and the complex's deserted ambiance in the winter months, detracted from the enjoyment of my stay. Most disappointingly, the owner's explicit refusal to provide a refund, despite the substantial inconvenience and lack of basic amenities for most of my stay, left me feeling undervalued as a guest and dissatisfied with the overall handling of the situation. Upon reviewing the owner’s response to my initial feedback, I must clarify crucial points and rectify misrepresentations: - It is important to address the serious accusation made in the owner's response regarding intentional damage to the property. I categorically deny any such actions. No cables were cut or tampered with during my stay. Such an accusation is not only unfounded but also damaging to my reputation as a guest. - Internet connectivity was problematic from the start, not just on the second day, challenging my work and overall stay due to also lacking mobile coverage. - The hot water issue was not a simple fix. Initially, it was due to the boiler being unplugged. After addressing this, the boiler still didn't function correctly because of smart home system complications due to the internet outage. - The owner's mention of incurred costs does not negate the absence of promised amenities. We, as guests, rightfully expect the advertised services, and when these fall short, reasonable compensation is expected. - The offer of an extra night or future discount, though appreciated, lacks practical value for me, leading to my request for a refund—not for the full amount, but as a fair adjustment for the issues encountered.
