The guy assigned in the concierge was helpful.

To be improved

1. The location is not safe especially if you are a solo traveller. 2. There is no signage outside the building. It will cause you confusion to identify the hostel. 3. Outsider can enter the building easily because there is no security. 4. Lack of communication from the main hub to the branch. The concierge assigned to the hostel was not aware of the arrival of the guests.

“- really friendly and helpful staff - good price - located close to everything in Madrid · Cons: - My room didn’t have a proper window, and even with the fan it was way too hot to sleep so I didn’t enjoy my stay. Photos show rooms with a window but mine only had a roof really small one - Location is not safe for solo travelers or any people at night (or even during the day). The streets around are not safe”

“Round-about the worst stay I ever had.”

I liked that nobody broke into my room (despite somebody clearly having tried this before - the door was partially broken by a punching mark - although not so bad that it compromised the door's functionality). The staff at least was friendly.

To be improved

Basically everything - the walls were EXTREMELY thin (the person next door was talking on the phone until 3am and although I think he was trying to be quiet, I could hear EVERYTHING), the area felt extremely unsafe, the "hostel" is really in an apartment so that you wouldn't know it is a hostel, the code wasn't sent to me and the room smelled like smoke.
