The best

Very pleasant apartment it must have been renovated recently, cozy bedroom with lovely ocean view from the terrace. Everything was in place including hot water in the shower good quality bedding and additional beach towels. Bike rack did its job, I didn’t have to keep the equipment in the apartment. Quiet neighbourhood close to many cycling routes. Will stay here again.

“Lovely apartment, great location.”

The best

Lovely brand new apartment in block on 6th floor with lifts. Everything in the apartment was brand new, very clean, big walk in shower, new kitchen, new furniture, huge balcony with sea views. Calpe Port and Calpe Rock a 5 minute walk, 10 min walk to promenade which led up to town and 30 minutes walk to old town. Had a complimentary bottle of wine on arrival. (no corkscrew though). Didn't use them but handy washing machine and dishwasher if needed. Dog friendly. Quiet apartment and location. Complex has a pool and a children's play area at the front. There was a free open air car park 2 mins round the corner which was very handy.

To be improved

On arrival went to have showers but there wasn't any hot water, contacted hosts, they had to get a technician out as boiler wasn't working, he was there all day so we couldn't use the apartment. They did try all they could to fix it, eventually at the end of the day we had hot water but only enough for one shower and had to wait 30-45 minutes until there was more hot water. This is apparently how the boiler works. The hosts were very apologetic and did give us a refund for the day we couldn't use the apartment which was appreciated. Could do with more kitchen utensils/knifes for cooking, corkscrew for wine etc.
