Ikonik Ramblas

This is a modernised hotel on La Rambla. My room was large, clean and modern with a big, modern bathroom with a huge shower. The bed was comfortable, with nice, clean, white doona covers. Shampoo, conditioner, body wash and lotion provided in bathroom with extra amenities available on demand. I was allowed an early checkin with no problem. The Gothic quarter is in the streets behind the hotel, so very close but taxis could reach the front of the hotel, which is not as easy if your hotel is right in the Gothic quarter. I did not have breakfast as I like to try outside places. For the low price I think this hotel is excellent value. Yes, there are the usual inner city issues with odd types on the street but they did not bother me.

Spent here two nights before and one after our cruise. Location right at the Ramblas gives you a unique chance to access the city. We walked tens of kilometres just to enjoy the views. Hotel room was large enough for two people - and then again when on a city visit how much time are you spending in a hotel room? You're there for a good night sleep and a breakfast. That's what we paid and that's what we got. We were also happy to return back to Ikonik Ramblas after the cruise. Friendly staff at the front desk provided good service, like did the staff at breakfast. Only one problem; the rooms on each floor are on two levels. One elevator goes to higher level, another to the lower level. While we were there, the lower level elevator was out of use - so we had to carry our luggage few steps down and up to reach the higher level elevator. That was annoying with heavy, large luggage. However, it was a personal choise. Had we chosen to travel lighter, this would not have been any concern. Having said this, let me just conclude that I would happily return next time.

Hotel was directly on Las Rambalas but it was quiet! Extra clean room with a huge bathroom. Friendly staff! I would definitely recommend!

Location is great, rooms are spacious. Bawar at reception was great, so nice, professional and friendly. Will come back to this place alwyas.
