“Stylish apartment in heart of Malaga”

We had a wonderful stay in this stylish apartment in the heart of Malaga. Brilliant location close to Plaza de la Merced and Malaga's shops, restaurants and bars. 15 mins walk to the beach. There's a taxi stand on the Plaza de la Merced which was useful for airport transfer and getting to the train/bus stations. Other reviewers have mentioned the noise - yes it is noisy particularly at the weekend but it did not bother us, earplugs will be useful for those sensitive to noise. Access to the apartment was via a door code, no need to collect keys on arrival. Kitchen was well-equipped with a washing machine, dishwasher, oven, microwave, hob, kettle, toaster, Nespresso coffee machine, iron and ironing board. Both bathrooms quite small but with a lovely rainfall shower, a few toiletries and hairdryer. Aircon in every room which we were grateful for as it was 33 degrees in Malaga during our stay!

To be improved

Bathroom in second bedroom was tiny, I kept bumping into things. The twin beds were not very comfortable.

“You won’t get a wink of sleep. Serious Noise and cleanliness problem”

Unfortunately the stay at the Iloft was not ideal, the property was subject to loud noise throughout most of the night and none of the party were able to sleep as a result. On arrival the bedsheets were covered in hair on both beds there was a yellow / brown stain on both beds and the room was unclean on arrival with tissue under the bed. I did report this issue to the host and they sent someone the following day to clean the property. I also have the images which was sent to the host / management team. The hallway is dirty . Also the TV was not working on arrival. I feel that you may need to state the noise issue on your booking.com ad and it should be more noticeable.

Convenient location. Good bedrooms / living rooms. Nice cafes & restaurants nearby.

To be improved

The street was noisy late into the evening. The shared entrance hall was a bit scruffy / lived in.
