Industrial studio in the city center by REMS

We were kept awake every night by loud noise from people on the street below, which made it really difficult to rest. On top of that, I was very uncomfortable to discover that the key fob had a tracking device on it - something I wasn’t informed about. I only found out when my Apple 'Find My' app sent a security alert, showing that I’d been tracked all day. This felt like a serious invasion of privacy.

We stayed for 10 days and unfortunately the storage space was a little bit lacking, meaning we had to live out of our suitcases. To make this stay perfect we would’ve liked to have seen some of the open space by the chest of drawers being used as built in storage space instead. This would make it feel a bit more homely. It is also worth noting that the pool is closed between 2pm and 4pm every day. Whole REMS might not have any control over this, it is worth noting if you’re considering a poolside holiday. Another small thing was that we were only proved with one dish towel in the kitchen which may seem picky but I would’ve liked to have been provided with slightly more than that for general cleaning throughout our stay.

Unfortunately as other reviews state, it is very loud. We originally dismissed these (as we live in London we thought how much worse could it be…). Well we were certainly wrong! The glass does absolutely nothing to block the sound out, you may as well have the windows open. We even slept with ear plugs in which marginally helped. If you’re planning on being out until the late hours then you’ll have no problem as the sound seems to stop around 5am. Additionally, we were not sharing the main bed, so had the sofa bed made up. This was just a sheet over the actual couch itself so every groove of the cushions could be felt. If you don’t need to sleep comfortably then the apartment would be lovely

There was a lot of noise from the street, drunk people at night. As small as the street is, lots of drunks use it as a way home. The pool is very shallow, only 0.9m
