It was comfortable and clean. They have a good/spacious parking spot. Had mostly morning sun on balcony which allows you to have shades open all afternoon which is nice. Host is responsive, understanding and seems to care about the place but couldn’t help much as he is away and the place is managed by a company on his behalf. Regarding the apartment complex: we have been coming here and staying in different units for the last 3 years. It has been a great option for relaxation with family, especially with children. Lots of space to run free, playgrounds, pools, etc.
Overall, the apartment is in need of some love and attention. Peeling door handles in kitchen, weathered outdoor furniture, all in need of some maintenance. It is all ikea so it doesn’t last forever. It’s easy stuff to fix. It is managed by a company and it shows. They kept it very bare on textiles, had decorative pillows (that needed washing) but no covers. Extra pillows but no covers. No floor mats for entrance, kitchen and balcony. Only 2 dish towels. If you ask for anything else they say it costs extra. It is annoying to choose a high end apartment to relax and feel like they are nickel and diming you on everything. But our biggest complaint/alert is in regards to the complex. We can def see signs of decaying and lack of proper management upkeep over the years. Kids pool and playground flooring are in desperate need to repair. I found several broken pieces of tile inside the kids pools, one of them cut my foot. I’m glad it was mine and not my son’s. Gym equipment has missing pieces and some of it is falling apart. One of the nicest things about this place was the pool by the bar which USED to be heated all year round, but this year they arbitrarily decided to turn off the heat for the summer. And this happened the week we were there even though it was not summer season yet. We had days of 15 Celsius and raining and the pool was ice cold. No one was able to enjoy it. Seems like they are making important budget cuts that if they don’t watch it, the place will start falling to pieces really soon, which is a big shame as we love it there and it has been our go to vacation spot for years now. Hope the owners apply pressure and demand proper maintenance, care and upkeep so the place can stay as great as the first time we have been there.
“VERY DISONEST HOST WITH UNACEPTABLE ATTITUDE – RUN AWAY”

Rikke did not return my deposit and reported me to booking asking for additional 200€, without reason, without talking to me, before or after this situation. A few of days after checkout, I’ve received a message from booking Assistant saying that Infinity View report that Idid not respect the conditions. There were damages to the outside umbrella and I have to pay 200 euros. If I pretend to discuss this cost, discuss directly with the host. I’ve immediately sent a message to Rikke: “Rijke, Just got a message from booking saying that I broke the umbrella!!!!! I didn’t even use it i said to Novadesta that the piece come out during the very bad weather and super strong wind., mostly on Sunday and it was only that because I put it inside If not it would have flown away or be completely destroyed like the neighbors awning And I also told that probably the umbrella was not ok before that because it seemed broken inside but that just a supposition. Reporting that to booking without even talking to me is a very ugly thing to do Again, we did no brake anything. Please correct that immediately” He saw these messages and did not reply or do anything. Some day later: “Rikke, I’m still waiting for your answer and the return of the deposit.” And, nothing. Some day later: “Your attitude and silence is totally unacceptable. I’ll report it to Booking and make my reviews public.” Again, no answer. So, not much more to add. There was DANA Storm in Alicante with winds of 70km/h during our stay that caused a lot of damages. besides this BIG issue, there were many things not ok: - Cleaning, Bed sheets, Towels very used and some with holes, Toaster, barbecue gas not included and no spare As we had 2 consecutive reservations, we should be entitled to a cleaning in the middle of our stay; we didn’t ask for it. but we shouldn’t have to I’ve used booking a lot for many years and never had a problem until now Booking shouldn’t have hosts like this
