“Great stay , would definitely return.”
The hotel was lovely and modern and very clean , we were able to check in when we arrived at 10.30am . We upgraded to a premium room which was worth the money , the mini bar was re stocked every day . We only had breakfast once which was lovely but quite expensive at €20. The staff were all helpful and friendly.
“Great spot”
Loved this hotel stayed over Easter with family. If you like the sun I advise you book on the left of the hotel as you look out over the pool (Ideally ground floor) where you get sun all afternoon. Pool and sauna are great and the breakfast was busy but an ok variety. Not quite as much as some other Melias I have stayed at but good. If you like using the gym on holiday this probably isn't the one for you. One cable rack a leg extension and a bench and few dumbells. Quite a lot of space but not much equipment - a few treadmills and cross trainers though and if you like virtual spin that's available. Otherwise cannot fault the hotel and a lovely walk into Palma and good restaurants close by in Santa Catalina.
“Quiet hotel in a residential area”
Clean, quiet, friendly staff, good breakfast with different options. Highly recommended
“Very good short stay”
Just arrived back from this hotel after a 4 night break. Our choice to stay was based on previous mostly very good Tripadvisor reviews. Very happy to say that we were not disappointed. The hotel is modern. Bedrooms are comfortable and very clean. Nice touch also with a free (limited) minibar. We had a premier room with balcony. Food at breakfast and dinner very good. Staff at reception, bar and restaurant are professional, really helpful and friendly. Public areas again are very clean and appear well maintained. Didn’t use all the hotel facilities particularly pools or pool area due to cool weather. Hotel is away from the centre of Palma but we had no issues with the walk or local transportation. Just be aware (like many hotels) that if you arrive in the mid morning, as we did along with many others, your room may not be quite ready, but the hotel will store your luggage. Would be very happy to stay here again whenever we revisit Palma. Finally thanks to the patience of all the staff who had to put up with my attempts to speak Spanish!!
“Fab stay”
Another fab stay. All the staff who we met were very friendly and helpful. Rooms are a good size and very clean. The walk to the bars, restaurants and shops is easy. If you struggle the buses are frequent and cheap.
“Be careful when you booking with kids”
We booked Site Inn, Palma de Mallorca through Booking and Priceline, clearly selecting 2 adults and 1 child (6 years old) in the filters. The system allowed the booking, confirmed it, and we paid in full. However, upon arrival at the hotel, we were told that the child was not registered in their system and that the room we booked could not accommodate a child, despite the reservation being confirmed for three guests. As a result, we were forced to upgrade to a more expensive room and also pay an additional fee for the child. In total, we ended up paying almost double the original price. What makes this situation especially disappointing is that this was not our mistake, but clearly a system or platform error, and yet the hotel staff showed no flexibility or willingness to help, even considering we were traveling with a child and arrived exhausted after a long flight. We had no real choice but to pay, as it was late and we were extremely tired. This experience revealed a very poor booking coordination between the hotel and booking platforms, and an unfriendly, inflexible attitude at the reception. Travelers with children should be very careful — the final price may be very different from what you initially book.
