“Location was great. Easy to travel. · Cons: Soundproofing can be improved. We can hear the sound of doors opening and closing or partying on other floors coming from the hallway at night. The duvet cover is very chic. It's a combination of sheets + comforter + sheet instead of the usual duvet cover. Maybe it's a Spanish speciality, but we haven't seen duvet been covered like this in any other Spanish hotels.”

“In general nice hotel with good facilities. Very friendly and helpful staff. Location -wise was easy to get there and was close to the city centre, it took us around 15-20 min walking to get the to main square and cathedral. We had breakfast included which we really liked. It had a great variety of both sweet and savoury dishes and fresh fruit.”

“Great base to see the city in comfort”
Staff were great, service was really good. Location was about a 15 - 20 minute walk into the harbour. Plenty great restaurants near for lunch or in the main town. We ate like kings.
The pool area is good with excellent service but the pictures make the pool look much much bigger than it is. On our first night the 2 rooms we got were different, we requested twin rooms on booking . com but neither were, 1 small room with a small double bed vs 1 large room with a king / super king that could be split into twins. The staff were very understanding and changed the small room to a twin after the first night. Make sure if your expecting a twin, you do not rely on booking website UI selection, Also select it in the preference message box. This is more of a complaint for booking.com than the hotel.
“Disappointing for the price”
Breakfast was generally good, but the coffee machine was really disappointing. Some guests were able to order barista-made coffees, though it wasn’t clear whether these were included in the room rate. The rooftop bar was never open when we went up in the late afternoon — once it was closed for a private party — and it definitely wasn’t set up like the photos shown in the gallery. The spa was a real letdown. The air was thick with chlorine, making the pool unusable, and the steam room didn’t heat properly or stay steamy for long. There were also no cleaning cloths provided. Our room had a faulty window that wouldn’t lock (on the ground floor, opening onto a terrace), and the air conditioning didn’t work on our first night. I asked for a partial refund, as we were paying over £200 a night, but we didn’t receive one. The staff couldn’t move us because the hotel was full. Once the window was repaired, the room was fine — clean, comfortable beds, and a good minibar. However, for the price, I expected far better service and facilities. Unfortunately, they also messed up a friend’s booking, leaving her to pay a huge amount for a last-minute replacement room. Overall, I wouldn’t stay here again at this price point.
“A hidden gem in a side street but handy for everything centrally. Good for gluten free”
We leave this hotel tomorrow after 2 days here. We tag a couple of days on at the end of our Puerto Pollensa trip, as it gives a city break, but also helps with journey times and airport check in. I booked this last year, just the standard room. It’s not a particularly cheap hotel but it ticked a lot of boxes with location etc. it was a lovely surprise to get an email from Melia to say that as a Melia club member I qualified for a birthday gift of an upgrade on my next stay. The upgrade was applied by Sanae who is one of the excellent receptionists. She is so helpful and thoughtful and when we arrived hours before check in time from Puerto Pollensa she sorted out an early check in. She gave a great offer for breakfast the next day, and used my Melia points towards it so it worked out great value. Really great colleague, the hotel should be proud. The lovely waiting staff at breakfast also deserve praise. I have coeliac disease and was immediately offered gluten free bread and goodies. The breakfast spread is delicious. Worth every penny. The hotel is handy for everything centrally and if you want to venture further it’s near the bus stops on the Rambla. We will definitely check the prices out for our trip to Mallorca next year.
“Mixed”
Good location Not much of an atmosphere in the hotel Rooms were nice, but we were on the 6th floor and it was very noisy, from the bar/pool above, and chairs and tables constantly being scrapped along the floor. I advised reception and nothing was done at all about this, quite disappointed with the response, seeing as it was not cheap per night to stop here. Breakfast was nice, but very limited options for gluten free eaters. Rooms nicely cleaned by the maids.
