The best

The location is strategic - a block from the beach, a short walk to downtown shopping/dining and the Old Town. The renovated room was extremely well-appointed and comfortable (great bed!). The staff was extremely helpful.

To be improved

Neither the exterior nor the interior gives the impression of a four-star hotel - the lobby is a weird mishmash of designs, largely outdated, and instead of elevators that take you to any floor, there's one for the garage, another from the first floor on up, and an annoying mini-elevator from the lobby. The hotel itself is situated amid a sea of trash bins on a block that, when we visited, was marred by lots of ugly construction. And while the location is convenient to many things, the surrounding blocks aren't lively. Overall, I think it's overpriced.
