Inside Barcelona Apartments Mercat

We had two nights in Barcelona prior to boarding a cruise ship, and decided to book here. We are so pleased that we sid so. The appartment was immaculately clean, nicely furnished and very comfortable. And Carrer Commercial was perfectly located for restaurants and bars and just 15 minutes stroll to La Rambla. The staff at the office (3 minutes away) could not have been more helpful. They replied to enquiries quickly, spoke perfect English and stored our luggage. They even arranged a taxi to transfer us to the cruise terminal. First rate. We would absolutely recommend this company and will use them again.

The Apartment we rented from Inside Barcelona Apartments Mercat was outstanding. In addition to its very central location, it was clean, exceptionally well equipped and very functional for a week-long stay. The staff was very helpful before and during our stay. Little things like the washer/dryer worked easily and effectively. The internet was very good. The only issue I would raise is that because the stairs between levels (and bedrooms) were steep, this may not be the best unit for older travelers or those with small children. However, otherwise I highly recommend this organization.

Stayed in the Mercat apartment last year with my wife, and returned again in February 2019 with our whole family of 5 adults and 3 kids, occupying three apartments. We all just loved the location, the space, the comfort, the view, and the facilities of the apartments. The fantastic service of the Inside Barcelona staff, before and during our both visits, topped it all - this will be our home in Barcelona also next time! The Mercat is within a pleasant walk (or easy ride) from all attractions, still having the feel of living like a local, a bit off from the biggest masses of tourists. There are many restaurants, shopping and museums close-by, supermarket right across the square. We also enjoyed the sunny leisurely walks by the sea at Port Vell with many outdoor restaurants. If you are visiting during a weekend, do join the locals for Sunday picnic, maybe a concert and dancing, or rowing a boat on a small lake at the lovely Parc de la Ciutadella, right across Passeig de Picasso.

We stayed at Inside Barcelona Apartments (Mercat Duplex) for 3 days in May-2019. Apartment is located at very convenient location , 30 mins away from airport, 15 mins walking distance to beach, Zoo and Park just few mins away , close to grocery store , There is also 24 hrs grocery store just 5 mins away. Highly recommend this place. I am overwhelmed by the services provided, They arranged birthday cake for my wife on my request from one of the best place in Barcelona (Bubo), also arranged the taxi for our journey back to airport for early morning flight. Few downsides 1. Apartment is duplex so it was not child friendly, we had to be extra careful with the stairs 2. Bit expensive.

Loved the location, walking distance to the old town of El Born with beautiful cafes, bars, restaurants and walking distance to the Estacio de Franca train station and Aldi. Parc de la CiutDella and Arc de Triomf right next door. Everything is within walking distance. Stayed on the 2nd floor 2 bedroom apartment which was well stocked with every thing you might need. But sticking 2 single beds together didn’t make for comfortable sleeping and pillows very flat. Please replace that very uncomfortable sofa which is not suitable for guests. Could do with another English TV channel as well. Other than that no complaints and would recommend highly for location.

The apartments are on a very quiet pedestrianised square. No noise from bars or restaurants either. And most bedrooms look onto the quiet inner courtyard. Within easy walking distance of centre and main sights, and 3 minutes walk to beautiful gardens, 15 minutes walk to the beaches. The apartments are newly renovated and modern in an 18th century house, with a modern lift. We had an "attic" apartment, with bedroom, good bathroom, sitting room, dining area for four and a modern kitchen. (Although they're called attic, they have high, full ceilings and full-length windows with masses of light). There's also dining-table and chairs for six on the rooftop terrace, and 2 loungers on the upper part of the terrace, which has great views over the rooftops of Barcelona. Heating/air-conditioning too. The staff all speak English and were very helpful. The apartment was spotlessly clean. There's an Aldi small supermarket on the far corner of the large square. To sum up: beautifully peaceful, spacious and comfortable, with great views. Virtually unique in Barcelona, and very good value.
