“Great Family Holiday”
We have just returned from our 3rd family holiday at this hotel, as usual everything was as expected, quality cleanliness value for money all great. Location is perfect for us with a safe family Beach right at the back of the hotel which we enjoyed most days. Never any problems getting a sunbed around the Pool. On this one occasion we have only given 4 not 5 stars as because the evening entertainment had stopped at the end of September and our Tour provider had not informed us of this change. Usually each evening on the main stage there is a singer or magician to entertain the guests, due to this not happening all the young ones were a tad board..... We have already booked for next summer, but we will be seeking clarification nearer the time that evening entertainment will be on.....
“Good-value for the low-maintenence guest”
Great for a 4* experience. Big shoutout to Katy from reception, she was great throughout the entirety of our stay and took great care of us. Big thank you to chef Leo for the best paella and the hotel manager Aymar for a warm welcome! I agree with the older reviews about the worn rooms, though. They would definitely need a bit of a upgrade, as for cleanliness, the rooms were cleaned daily, so the upkeep was ok. The food was very good, a variety of fresh salads and meats, also very good options for herbivores, too. The desserts were a bit of a let down, though. We never figured out why. They tasted like store-bought, unfortunately. What I don't agree with the older reviews is the quality of the beds. The mattress was harder and that's what we miss in most hotels, it's better for the back and it should be so everywhere, thanks for that. Overall, the experience was good with only minor hiccups. Thank you!
“End of season sunny weather getaway”
Great 4* all inclusive hotel experience if you’re not too fussy about worn facilities. Katy from reception is a star and should be protected at all costs, thank you! Huge props to Leo from kitchen for most delicious paella and Aymar the manager for warm welcome! Bar staff and entertainment duo were great too!
“Excellent hotel”
Great family friendly hotel, staff were excellent, friendly and welcoming, the hotel was spotless and rooms were cleaned daily, more than ample choice from the restaurant and I’m a fussy/plane eater. All inclusive really means all inclusive, entertainment crew were excellent and friendly. Pool bar was also very good for drinks and snacks. Only downside was lack of indoor space for when there’s bad weather but not a major issue for an hour here or there! Over all excellent hospitality and holiday!! Thank you
“Great experience”
The hotel staff were amazing from the cleaning staff. Reception, pool bar & restaurant. The room was spotless & cleaned every day. The buffet food was wide ranging & delicious. Lots of fresh fruit & salads as well as chips & burgers. Pool bar did snacks & drinks all day. Pity there was no inside bar when the weather changed. Lots of sun beds around the pool but the age old problem of bed hogging. The management did remove some towels in the morning but it wasn't kept up. Beach was really close by (lots of steps though) and nice. Beach bar was closed so had to come back to hotel for drinks etc. Children playground on site & table tennis & basketball. There was a good children club but we didn't use it. There was an entertainment guy who was also good.
“Bang average!”
Travelled as a family group of 9, stayed all inclusive. Some of the group stayed in the main building and had problems with the room, namely mould , smelly and leaking air con. They reported to reception and the "fix" was to paint over the mould! We stayed in the annex building... certainly room with a view over the beach but that view was from floor 3 and there is no lift!! The bathroom was smelly and the area outside was also very smelly ( think blocked drain smells). Our room overall was ok though. Area-- it's nice and quiet. Walk out the hotel and turn right and walk up to the round about and there is a mini market. Turn left out of the hotel and walk up to the roundabout and there is a shop but that is mainly clothing. But at this area is the bus stop. Getting around-- we took the bus to San Antonio and takes about 30 mins. Takes you into the main terminal and you get the bus back there as well. €2.90 per ticket. We hired a minibus from reception to take us to old town. It was €20 per person return. Would recommend this, picked us up at 10 and collected us at 4. Journey about 30 mins. Pool-- not massive but it's ok. It was freezing though so brace yourself! Obviously keeping in mind it was October. Plenty of sun beds but to get the area that's in the sun you need to be up and at it around 9am ish. Half the beds were in the shade. But area was pretty clean. There was a small kids pool to the side of it. There is a kids club which seemed popular but we didn't use it. Food and drink-- Main buffet restaurant for all meals. I think overall it is fair to say it is pretty average. Breakfast- usual stuff to expect and they have the omelettes/ eggs made to order. Lunch- we only had in the restaurant a couple of times as in the day we ate at the bar. Dinner- had a couple of decent nights of food choice and to be fair there is something for everyone but had to get creative a couple of times to throw something together. Puddings- look the part but very little flavour and taste. Drinks- self serve for wine, beer, fruit juices and fizzy and coffee. The pool bar serves hot dogs, pizza and burgers etc. was ok and filled a hole. Again here self drinks but also staff serving. Drinks choices are branded and ok. Cocktails though very sweet. Other info-- Reception staff are a little lack lustre! You can hire towels from reception (we didn't though) Lighting around the complex at night wasn't great and that needs to be improved. Staff in restaurant - ok so we're a group and when you arrive to be seated the staff will advise you a table, one chap was particularly grumpy! He would literally pinch his nose in annoyance. Would we go back again... no I don't think we would.
