“Fantastic Location when visiting Madrid”
The best

An absolutely great location when visiting this magnificent city, Staff were very friendly and helpful.. Breakfast staff were excellent.and so was the breakfast buffet. Room was big enough.. Bed was very comfortable.. Lovely hotel.. Only issue we had was the shower/bath.. We kept flooding our bathroom after a shower.. Different shower nozzles might be needed!

The best

We have just returned home after our stay at the Palazo San Martin. It is situated in the perfect location for visiting most of the main attractions in Madrid. Just a stroll from the Royal Palace, Gran Via and Plaza Mayor. Perfect for shopping! Staff were friendly and helpful. Our room and bathroom were well appointed with everything we could want. Beds were very comfortable with a choice of pillows. It was spotlessly clean. We had breakfast there only once as it was uninspiring, so we could only give 4 points. In all, a good choice for short city break.

“Great location, building need maintenance”
The best

There's a lot to like about this hotel - great location, really nice staff, room is nicely laid out / spacious, and it's quiet + very safe. However, there is a bad smell especially in the bathroom, and in the Interior rooms, there are no windows so there's no way to air out the room. It was especially bad in the morning, when lots of people were using the plumbing and the drainage smell got worse. I would hesitate to stay here again for this reason, even though I very much enjoyed my stay otherwise.

“Awesome”
The best

I had an extremely pleasant stay in Madrid. The hotel is very clean, well located in the center in the pedestrian area that offers both peace and easy access to the areas of interest in the city. The reception staff is very kind and prompt; they helped me prepare a birthday surprise, and on the last day we were allowed a late check out. The breakfast was tasty, fresh and varied. I would return to this hotel anytime.

The best

Excellent location. Hotel is spotlessly clean. Lovely room with good refreshments and nice bathroom with good complimentary toiletries.Welcome drink was appreciated. We had a couple of small issues possibly only applicable to our room which we hope the hotel can address. However, highly recommend a stay here, we would stay again.

The best

Hotel was in a convenient location. Staff was attentive and helpful. Wi-Fi service was okay. There was a problem with the WiFi in one family room which the hotel remedied by changing the room. Otherwise, the hotel was a great place to stay.
