The entertainment team was amazing and actively engaged guests.
Location was mentioned positively, contributing to an enjoyable experience.
Generally perceived as good value considering the experience despite some issues.
Overall experience was satisfactory but could have improved in several areas.
Amenities such as the pool were appreciated, but some improvements could be made.
Room was lovely but dated; some concerns about the strong smell in the room.
“Good but needs some improvement”
location, tv, shower, balcony, breakfast, early check in, ac in the room, friendly personnel
strong smell of cigarettes in the room, only change of sheets and towels every couple of days, no proper cleaning of the room, the halls are old and smell strangely, no drying rack
“Left a lot to be desired :(”
The hotel is in a good location, close to salou's amenities. The food was very good in all inclusive, albeit the options were somewhat limited but the meat in particular was the best I've had at a budget AI hotel. Our room (Deluxe King) had its own kitchen so you could cook if needed. There were small comforts that I appreciated such as a coffee machine, turfed balcony, cushioned seats on balcony, pinned tablecloth on balcony table, brush, mop, bucket etc. We didnt use the entertainment facilities but there seemed to be a bustling entertainment program for children and families. We didn't use the pool as it was too cold but the area and animation looked good. The room was decent but very, very noisy.
When we checked in, the cleaners had left all the previous guests rubbish and belongings in our room. The cleaners then didn't clean our room for the entirety of our stay, even though they were stationed outside of our room daily from early hours talking loudly to each other and despite promising cleaning every two days. This meant we had to dispose of the previous guests rubbish ourselves and buy our own bin bags. The dishes in the cupboard had also been put away dirty prior to our arrival?! You are provided with a kitchen cleaning kit (cloth, tea towel, and two small sachets of washing up Liquid like ketchup sachets). We had to use this to clean the dishes in our room, then had to buy more for the remainder of stay as cleaners did not attend the room and leave more washing liquid. It's really not good enough for a room costing £117 per night. The coffee machine was dirty and still had previous guests coffee in, too. As cleaners did not attend room, we did not receive any additional tea or coffee for the remainder of our stay (2 coffee pods and a few tea bags provided at check-in). You get one long pillow and one light blanket on the whole bed, so it's not great if you are sharing the bed or it's cold, but there is heating in the room. The bed wasn't made or changed for the entirety of stay. Wouldn't mind, but it's included in the price you pay for the stay! There are no extra blankets or pillows in the wardrobe as you would normally find in hotels. We booked through booking.com, and the room was stated to be a pool view. However, we were put on the side of the building, which is right on the main road. The noise was absolutely ridiculous all day and night. With a football tournament going on in addition to constant traffic, horns honking, sirens, and passersby shouting. There were groups of football youths gathered day and night around the street and surrounding hotels, shouting to each other relentlessly. The room was sold on...
“OK for what I needed.”
Nicely decorated, had everything you would require.
Shower didn't work when I got there so they had to install a new on Building is hotel for people who like to have loud banging music from 11am by pool. Kinda had a 'benidorm' vibe. Didn't expect this as flat was 'luxury' Neighbours were noisy too.
