Invernal de Tobaño

Once we found it the location was peaceful, idyllic and beautiful. Make sure you make contact with owners before you arrive to pick up key as we hadn't down this and realised that our Spanish wasn't good enough (owners speak limited English)

Invernal de Tobaño is a fantastic mountain cabin with breathtaking views of the Picos de Europa! The cottage is wonderfully secluded, providing us with a peaceful oasis. Inside, the chalet is pleasantly cool and well-equipped, making our stay even more comfortable. Our hosts, Yolanda and Tonio, gave us a warm welcome and were incredibly helpful with our arrival at the cottage.

The location was perfect for us. It is a 10/15 minute drive up a bumpy track which you can only access with a 4x4. There were hardly any neighbours - just the sound of insects and birds. It was exceptionally peaceful and beautiful. The house was clean and basic but had everything we needed. Some curtains to block out the light would have been nice. And perhaps one more sofa. But we absolutely loved it. Tonio and his wife were very kind and helpful indeed. They even gave us drinking water when we didn’t bring our own, and helped us get our luggage up the track. I would love to return. It really is a special place.
