“Cons: Warning: I was the victim of a phishing scam through the official Booking.com chat linked to this hotel. I booked a stay at Hotel Ipanema Park and received a message via the official chat in the Booking app. It looked completely legitimate and came directly from the hotel’s profile. The message contained a payment link, and I unknowingly entered my card details. As a result, €565 was authorized on my card — on top of the full amount I had already paid through Booking.com. In short, I paid twice for the same stay. This situation was extremely stressful — not only financially, but also because someone had access to my personal data: full name, card number, and even my check-in and check-out dates. That is a serious privacy and security issue. When I reported this to the hotel manager, she initially didn’t offer me anything — no apology, no support, no acknowledgment. Only after I asked, “Can you at least offer something as a gesture of goodwill?”, she said she could ask her superior about possibly giving me free Wi-Fi. Given the seriousness of the situation, this was honestly insulting. In addition to this, the hotel has other serious issues: – Wi-Fi is charged separately, but the connection only allows one device at a time. If another device connects, the first one is automatically kicked off. – The air conditioning in the rooms barely works, while at the hotel reception area it works perfectly. – I waited an hour for two sandwiches at the poolside café — service was incredibly slow and disorganized. I have already contacted my bank and Booking.com and will continue the refund process. However, the way this hotel handled the situation was deeply disappointing. No accountability, no real help, no gesture — nothing. The worst part is that the hotel staff seem completely indifferent to the fact that someone is using their verified Booking.com account to run phishing scams and misuse guest data.”

“Good hotel center point”
The location of the hotel is very center, walking distance from beaches and the main tourist attractions point. The personals very very polite and helpful. The breakfast was super good.
Wifi is not free. You have to pay 4€ per day which is something I saw for the first time. I hope the owner make it free. Beds were single beds. If you are married you feel it strange
“Great value for money”
I was pleasantly surprised with the hotel facilities, as after reading some bad reviews I had low expectations. But the room was overall quite new and spacious, being a great value for money. Additionally, I did not have any problems with noise despite being located in s'Arenal, a known party area. The staff is very helpful, especially Iván, who was super kind to us since check-in until check-out.
For improvement, I would have liked that there was a mini fridge in the room to store any cold drinks or food. Also, the AC was very loud, the noise that it made was a bit annoying when trying to sleep.
