Top Location, friendly and easy communication with host, some technical difficulties were immediately resolved. Appartement is clean and comfortable, parking solution is very good. We had a great stay!

“Disappointing experience”

Great location, right in the centre. Since Seville is a very walkable city, it was easy to get to all the main landmarks. Not once have we had to use a taxi or other public transportation for sights within the city itself. We only used our car to get to places just outside the city. It was also great to have a parking spot booked in the parking nearby. This parking is located at a 5-10 minute walk, and you will get a QR code from the host to enter the parking. This is a reusable code, so we could come and go as needed. Not carrying around keys, and just use door codes, was a plus. The host was very responsive on WhatsApp.

Unfortunately, we had a very poor experience in this apartment. We were on the ground floor, which we hoped would've been alright, but it did not turn out to be. The first night was disrupted by very heavy construction in the apartment right next to ours, starting at 7:30am. The host informed us that they were not aware that was going to take place, and subsequently did talk with the owners of that apartment. It seems there was some improvement afterwards, but was limited to them starting at 8am, and in a different room, slightly farther away from where we slept. It still echoed through the little patio. Then the ceiling in the bathroom started leaking. The first time this happened we were away, which meant we had a very wet surprise when we came back at 10pm, the bathroom was flooded. We cleaned this with our towels and informed the host. He said a maintenance perosn would come over the next day, but that did not happen. Looking at the rust on some of the metal in the bathroom right under the leaks, we had the feeling this was not an entirely new issue. If you're a light sleeper, this apartment would not be suitable, regardless of the above issues. On google maps, the road this apartment is located on seems to be a small local access alley. That is unfortunately far from the truth. Cars and heavy trucks drive by constantly. It's noisy for most part of the day. Traffic is very light at night though. And finally: cockroaches. We had to get rid of cockroaches in the bedroom and bathroom several times. Do not leave your bags on the floor, and keep them zipped. We learned that the hard way. There was one even in my shoe.. and I initially did not notice. Perhaps this is an issue it being the ground floor apartment, or perhaps just the area, but it was an unpleasant surprise.
