Jacaranda Catedral

Location, comfort, clean, coffee and biscuits left for guests, able to contact owner easily with a query.

A quaint 2 bedroom apartment right near the Seville Cathedral. Short walks from multiple tourist attractions, restaurants, shops. Bathroom had decent water pressure, cooling worked well. Comfortable beds. Despite being in such a populated area, the apartment is inward facing and I didn't have any trouble with noise.

We stayed 4 nights at Jacaranda Catedral in May 2025. We loved Sevilla and our stay. Our host Ángeles was warm and responsive from the very beginning, promptly answering questions about allergies etc. When we arrived, she helped us through entering the apartment and we always had the sense that we could reach out to her with any problems. We felt well taken care of. The apartment was mercifully cool and perfectly comfortable for three adults. It was as described and had everything we needed. We didn’t use the kitchen to cook. We were barely at the apartment (just there to sleep for a few hours each night) and didn’t check out the terrace at all or use all the amenities. But we felt the host had thoughtfully considered what a guest might need - adequate basic toiletries, iron and ironing board, drying rack, hangers, etc. (Go a little easy on the hot water if three people are having showers back-to-back!) The location is perfect. We could walk to the meeting points for all our tours and loved being in the bustling heart of the old town. There were no noise issues. We felt perfectly safe at all times. Taxis can’t come right up to the apartment and it’s not easy to find taxis in this part of the town. We had to leave at 5:00 am for an international flight and were concerned about finding a reliable taxi service for that hour. We booked ahead and were very happy with Taxi Aeropuerto Sevilla (+34 645 23 01 97). The best spot to meet them was at the corner of C. Argote de Molina and C. de Placentines, super close to the apartment. We would absolutely stay at Jacaranda Catedral again if we returned to beautiful Sevilla. The small details of providing coffee, tea, washing facilities was perfect. Angeles also gave us hints and tips of where to visit and where to eat etc. The apartment was very clean and in a perfect location for exploring Seville.

The apartment was in a perfect location, right near the Cathedral and beautiful streets of the Old Town so we could walk to all the main attractions easily. We were pleasantly surprised with how quiet it was inside the apartment because as soon as you were near the main front door you could hear the loud bustle from the street outside but inside was well away from this. The apartment was very clean with a very comfortable bed and very good shower. It was great to have a dishwasher fitted into the small space of the kitchen (as well as a washing machine, although we didn't use this) and a good-sized fridge/freezer. We enjoyed having the little terrace although the weather was only good enough for us to sit out there on our last day. Angeles was a very accommodating host and communication with her was very good.
