Jardines De Andalucía - EXQUISITE NEWLY RENOVATED

One of the main reasons we chose this apartment was because it had access to a pool. The first time we went to use it, it was locked! We sent a message to see how we could get access and were ignored for 24 hours... sent another message, same story! Finally we received a reply about 2 days later, after another prompt, asking us to prove that the key didn't work in the lock. This was sent and then ignored for the duration of our stay. We never did get to use the pool and suspected that we were being lied to and the issue drawn out as the sign at the pool said it closed in September. There is no record of this on this listing! The apartment directly above is being completely renovated. Although not directly this property's fault, we feel it would've been fair to have been notified about this. The disruption was major and meant we were woken up every weekday morning by loud banging and drilling at 8am! Not what we wanted for a lazy and relaxing stay. This carried on throughout the day and meant relaxing on the lovely terrace was not relaxing whatsoever since it felt like we should probably have hard hats on. It was a shame we could not escape the noise by going to the pool! Finally when the time came to checkout no instructions were sent on where to leave keys etc. When we asked we were told to leave them on the table which was fine. If you have a car in the car park DO NOT DO THIS!!! We arrived by car and did not move it for the duration of our stay. The car park is gated and underground. Following these instructions, we wrongly assumed that the door was automatic when exiting. Wrong! The clicker is needed and the apartment door locks on closure so we were stuck ages waiting for someone else to open the door. Poor management really let this place down.
