“Passable”

Close to Arenal and the Port, about a 15 minute walk, with plenty of shops, bars and restaurants. There are 2 balconies, but only 1 had furniture. There are no dining chairs indoors.The car park underground is very difficult to manoeuvre in. The on site swimming pool is very small for such a large number of apartments. The apartment has nowhere near enough bedding, crockery and cutlery. Pillows and Duvets were badly stained and need replacing. There were no duvet covers. If you're thinking of a long stay, there's no change of bedding, so you would have to wash and dry within a day. There is no tumble dryer .There were only 2 of us, but for a family it would be a struggle. The management company is almost non-existent, there is no meet and greet or registration process. Does that mean that the apartment is not licensed? The owner does not respond to feedback - he just wants a rating of 10 regardless. Previous reviews have made comments of shortcomings that have not been rectified. Although we did manage to get some duvet covers and wine glasses out of him - there was only one on arrival.

“Lovely apartment with a great location!”

The best

This is a very nice apartment, close to the beach (3 min walk). Restaurants and shops, lay within 5-10 min walk, a very nice walk along the beach. The apartment is nicely decorated and had a lot of storage for your clothes. The kitchen was fully equiped (apart from just 3 tea cups and only one wine glass).

To be improved

We love the apartment but we have a few remarks. The pool area was nice but there were no sunbeds to sit on (you have to lay on the gras). We asked several times about this (were we can find pool/sun beds) and finally after 5 days we got an answer (2 rusty and broken ”beach chairs” - they can’t have been used for a long time!). The shower ran out warm water after one has had a quick shower. In the description it says that there should be a dryer-but there was none. Otherwise the apartment was great and is located in a very nice area!

“Good location, clean and cosy!”

The best

Comfortable, clean and cosy. Secure, good size for 3/4 people lots of hot water and close to the beach, shops & cafes.

To be improved

The lamps didn’t work in the lounge, the kitchen wasn’t very well equipped and only x3 mugs for tea. There was not enough loo roll, so we had to go loo roll shopping - little details but irritating

The facilities were excellent there wasn't anything that wasn't there including herbs for cooking, Ideally located for the Arsenal and the Port.The owners were very helpful..
