“Spacious room, comfortable bed, very clean. Hostess was lovely, but spoke no English and we have minimal Spanish. Detailed instructions were sent in advance of arrival, but need to be familar with EU acronyms - DNI was not a familiar term. This property definitely best suited to car travel - beaches and attractions are some distance away. · Cons: It wasn't completely clear from the description that this is a bedroom within someone's house - you walk through the house to reach it. Overpriced for what it is, in my opinion. No refrigeration or food storage facility, no clothes washing facility apart from handbasin. Tiny shower - we're not big, but this was tricky if you dropped something. Request for photograph of passport without any information on the security of storage of the information. There were mosquitoes. As insect screens are not widely used in Spain/France it appears, this is not specific to this property. I wasn't comfortable about the Belgian Malanois dogs locked in pens whenever we were there, one at least certainly appeared to be positioned as a warning system. I do hope they receive appropriate training, exercise and attention at other times.”
