“I got a room on the 3rd floor, with a window opening on the internal part of the building. Contrary to what I was expecting reading the other reviews, thanks to its position it was extremely silent. The road is half-closed for construction so maybe there was less night-life, but even if there were to be, I don't think it would have reached my room. The room was one of the best I've stayed at among the last 4-5 I booked while traveling!”

“Everything is near by!”
The best

The guys on the reception were really friendly, location is incredible, everything is near by. Restaurants, coffee shops, markets - super easy to explore the city on foot from here (at least that's what we did). The neighbourhood is very lively. Both of us really liked it. The room had its private bathroom and a street-view small balcony, and the bed was really comfortable!!

To be improved

The street was underconstruction, and the appartment is just above the night club, so it can be loud, but it's nothing the owners can fix. However, we would get so tired during the day, that it didn't bother us at all during the night 😅. The place is a bit small for a longer stay, but if you're staying for a couple of days, it's perfect value for the money! Also, if you're working and traveling, you'll have to find a place to work since it can be tyring to work from bed, but there are a lot of options close to the accommodation.

“Great location, but unwelcome guest”
The best

The hotel has an excellent central location — perfect for exploring the city. The room was clean upon arrival, and while you can still hear some street and party noise even with the windows closed, it’s not unexpected given the lively area. The double door-code system (one for the street entrance, one for the floor) made me feel safe and secure, which I appreciated as a solo traveler. The receptionist was really kind and helpful throughout the stay. I also liked that the hotel offers luggage storage after checkout for just 1€, which was convenient.

Unfortunately, my overall experience was overshadowed by a very unpleasant incident. On the second night of my three-night stay, just as I was about to sleep after taking a shower, a cockroach suddenly crawled out from under my bed. I was completely shocked and frightened — not at all what you expect in a hotel. Thankfully, I was wearing shoes and managed to kill it. I reported it immediately to the 24-hour receptionist, who responded quickly, took a photo, removed the cockroach, and was clearly just as surprised as I was. He couldn’t move me to another room, but he helped me check the rest of the room, and we didn’t find any others. What’s concerning is that I never opened the window, and the only person besides me who entered the room was the cleaning staff. While checking for more bugs, I noticed yellow stains on the mattress — another unsettling detail that made it difficult to relax for the remainder of my stay. To sum up: the location is fantastic, the staff are genuinely kind, and the hotel felt safe and convenient. But the cockroach incident and stained mattress were major issues that seriously impacted my comfort and confidence in the cleanliness of the hotel. I hope they take pest control and hygiene more seriously going forward.
