“Old world charm for good value and quiet rest.”
The best

The room is set on a ground floor, off a private courtyard with old-world charm, and was very quiet. Our host was very cordial and helpful, along with her daughter, in helping us find the apartment in our car, in a tight street neighborhood. They have an optional parking garage adjacent to the home, which we opted to use(for an extra fee). It is located in a wonderful historical neighborhood, full of cafés, restaurants, bars and a park, all in walking distance...left the car safely parked for our 2-day stay. Spanish language is the norm here, so know Spanish or have a translator app. Our host was most patient with us, for not knowing our Spanish very well.

To be improved

We drove a car and it was a bit challenging to find the streets that took us to the front door. We had to park elsewhere, find it on foot (gps), then get better guidance from the kind host to bring our car and park it in the adjacent garage...took a bit of time to get settled (have her phone number on you!). No coffee portions offered but there was a tea selection and a kettle.

The location was nice and easy to reach.

To be improved

It is definitely no suite, just a ONE simple room. The place with the couches is separate. You can look at it through a window but not access it. Many of the promised amenities were not available (e.g. no kettle). The provided hand soap was mixed with water, so it was more water than soap. The bed cover had some spots, the towls as well. The shower was a bit moldy. Overall we were disappointed as the offer on booking.com was definitely misleading. For that price you can expect much more. Definitely not recommended.
